About Us...

It's not about pensions .......... It's about you, your family and your future
We specialise in helping Norfolk's residents plan for their future
Why Norfolk?
Because most of our clients prefer that we are accessible to them, to have someone to talk to face to face. The telephone and internet are also available, but they are available as well as, rather than instead of the ability to meet with real people.
Why Retirement?
Because focusing on a particular area ensures we understand the particular issues you face as an individual.
Also in an ever more complex world it enables us to develop an in depth understanding of the technicalities involved.
Our Specialists?
Trevor Goodbun is one of the few IFA's in East Anglia to achieve Chartered status. As well undertaking many years of examination, being a Chartered Financial Planner requires him to maintain his skill and knowledge and comply with a code of ethics.
Although he has an in depth understanding of pensions, he firmly believes that a pension is a means to an end not an end in itself. His main role is using a range of tailored solutions to ensure that his clients will be able to enjoy the retirement that they deserve.
His book Plan A Secure Retirement covers many aspects of planning for retirement and is available from all major booksellers including Amazon.
Trevor lives in Norwich with his partner and two children and like most parents much of his spare time is taken with running the kids back and forth to rugby, hockey, ski clubs, and scouts. He also enjoys researching and writing on retirement related issues and perhaps most sadly of all model railways.
Pam Butler is qualified as both a financial adviser and mortgage adviser. As an independent adviser she has many years experience advising on retirement planning and investments for her clients. Her previous roles include a Lending Manager for a major bank so she has an in depth knowledge of how banks work.
This technical experience combined with her personal experience over the years means she fully understands that people want answers not products.
Pam lives in Hethersett with her partner, 17 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Despite working full time and running a home she also helps at her local scout group and worries about her son's A level studies. She also enjoys watching her daughter play tennis, gardening and confesses to being a fan of Holby City.
